The threat of tariffs will be enough to raise prices.
Porsche can't just open up a factory here. They'd still have to import parts and the prices would be astronomical. They'd probably just downsize and cut US sales off first.
Also US car manufacturers will jump at the opportunity to raise...
I think if you have it on soft it might warm the cabin more gently. Try the other setting and see if you notice warmer air.
Although worth mentioning, you probably want to set to 75 or 76 to get warmer air.
Are you using the gentle or strong setting? That seems to make a big difference.
There's fan speed but also those two settings if you go to the climate menu in the infotainment.
You should also leave AC on when heating the car.
For sure! And I think OoS does some good videos. His range tests have really good info.
I do think these inspection videos are a weak point of their channel and just want people to know there's no problem here. Cars have to be detailed upon arrival, factory finished cars are not actually ready...
I strongly advise against watching any of Out of Specs inspection videos, it's just going to make you nervous about non-issues.
Ice Grey looks completely different under various indoor lighting. Go to a dealership and look at an Ice Grey car outside, then ask to see a sample inside. It'll blow...
So the good news is you're probably seeing the worst range the car will ever get. 350 miles isn't out of the break in period, your car only recently activated regen, and the cold temperatures hurt.
I'd wager you've also maybe played with the car a bit. Accelerating, braking, etc.. more than...
I also just stopped at a new EA site with 4 uni-cord cables. All 350s. 2 were occupied and pumping, mine also worked super well. The 4th seemed to be working.
Maybe they're on to something.
There's nothing wrong with a range estimate of 260 on a new car in the cold. The range is probably a maximum of 330 miles in ideal conditions (72 degrees, flat highway, 60 mpg). You take losses for cold and any time you start/stop/warm the car.
260 mixed use in the cold seems right. I'm sure...
They are funky. I test drove my 5th different EV Macan yesterday (I have issues) and noticed them. It's kind of funny how they're just two giant stand alone buttons, very Mercedes-esque, but I actually kind of like it. I often find sunroof controls confusing because I'm old and dumb, so these...
2 miles at 11% is just a mistake by the range meter.
The range meter is just a guess. It tried to estimate range based on temperature, battery %, and your known driving style.
In addition, there is some amount of miles before the car will get full range.
Finally, there are different types of...
My mistake. But yes, I feel like the 4 is just missing that oomph. You certainly don't get the thrust you'd expect from an EV if you floor it, but it still feels quick while in motion.
Seeing some much nicer efficiency numbers.
I'm starting to wonder if there's a longer break in than anticipated? I get regen shows fully active relatively quickly, but it does seem efficiency is improving for people as they get more miles.
I get my car in about a month and do the same 145 mile...
Amazing! So happy to see the MUCH improved results!
Gotta call you out, though. Everyone knows shitty sunvisors are required for it to be a real Porsche. That's a feature, not a bug. A really bad, dumb feature but hey. 🤣
Also for reference to everyone.. my 135kw Max Pack R1S wouldn't make it...
