Our 4S also does not have the lighting by the door handle. And, we too, struggle to locate the handle at night. If it's supposed to be there, I'll happily take it back to the dealer for repair. We just thought it was a "feature".
My numbers are similar to @Diego. Our numbers are ~ 10% lower than his as half of our miles were on a long roadtrip with our 2 e-bikes on the back driving at 130kph (speed and bike rack don't make for great range!). Since we've returned from the trip, we're back to @Diego numbers: (20 kWh /...
Yesterday, after we'd been on the road for about 45 minutes in ACC, we were presented with a message in Tube C indicating "assistive systems were not operational". The cockpit showed 3 errors that were new to me: 1) cruise control was not operational, 2) the system that monitors if the driver...
Iāve seen them both, once. Theyāve never returned. Iāve seen other messages too that have never come back.
Another member taught me about the ā5 minute cycleā. If you see a message, turn off the car and walk away (with your key) for 5 minutes. Upon return, if itās just a glitch, the message...
Iāve had it work several times. The pattern Iāve noticed is that it doesnāt like dark parking lots. For example, our CostCo has a very dark garage and I can never get it to acknowledge any space, ever. However, our Electrify America station has 20 back-in spaces. Itās very well lit. The parking...
It basically sticks to the window and didn't move during 4 hours of driving. When you open the door / window, it slides off. It doesn't come off until you do either of these actions. It leaves no marks on the window so I think it's just static holding it on. It's worked perfectly for us.
They asked nicely and it wasn't an extremely picturesque location for photos - picture dense fog, a decaying Taco Bell, and the odoriferous breeze from a nearby feedlot:). OK, the stink doesn't really figure, but it didn't hurt to be a nice guy; we'll all get to see the real thing soon enough.
We were doing a north - south ride and were really feeling the lack of an extendable sun visor in the afternoon. I found this and it works. Actually better than an extendable visor. I tuck it behind the seat when not in use (99% of the time).

I snapped this as I knew I wouldnāt be believedš. It honestly peaked out 4 KW higher but I donāt have proof besides my good name. Most have been single cord.
The quikrstuff rack is awesome. We needed a rack that was easy to mount and remove without destroying our backs because we canāt close our garage with a rack on the car. Itās perfect as each rack is an independent piece weighing < 25 pounds. I can mount it in 45 seconds with no tools.

They asked me not to take photos and I was outnumbered so I complied. Trust me, you will want one!
I did get a glimpse of a cockpit before they threw a cover over it - it looks like it might be getting close to production as things were looking advanced.
Trip summary: 1,500 miles, no problems. Itās so much fun to drive on a long road trip: fast, safe, quiet, comfortable, great tech, fun. And, after the Bose speakers broke in the sound was great.
Our car is a Macan 4, 22 inch wheels.
We used the Porsche charge planner and it is exceptionally...
My partner and I have shared a single car for 28 years. Not once in those 28 years was there a competition for who got to drive the car as I actually didn't like driving; I was content to sit in the passenger's seat.
It's a very different story since the Macan EV came into our lives. Now...
A few of you asked for more photos. I took a few of the exterior and interior that I feel accurately represent how the Provence / Blackberry combo looks in real life. I purposefully took shots highlighting the infinite color palette that is Provence in various light conditions. I opened the...
Yesterday, we were charging our car at an Electrify America charger in Southern California. Great experience - witnessed 265 KW peak, and plug and charge worked perfectly.
The reason for this post - while we were charging, a beautiful, shiny new Macan EV pulled into a spot to charge. About 5...
We went out to start our car and were greeted with many errors. And the car wouldnāt start. We kind of panicked as the car was stuck in our garage. The dealer sent a tow truck to our house, and while we were waiting, I decided to try to start the car again. This time everything was peachy.
I...
In reality, blackberry is several shades darker than your photos portray (as you point out). Itās really kinda retro elegant in real life. My partner thinks the combination of Provence / Blackberry is āparticularly fetchingā. Iām going to try to capture the reality with a real camera today. If...
Yesterday, we drove 250ish miles averaging 63 mph. 65 degrees F average temp. We had 2 heavy e-bikes on a hitch mount (batteries removed) on our Macan 4.
Without the bikes we would average 3.2 miles per kwh. With the bikes, we observed 2.7miles per kwh. So, around 15% impact.
We have a long...
We live in coastal California (mild climate) so maybe our range wouldnāt be achievable by others, but we have averaged 3.2 miles per kWh since we got the car. Very happy with this. Varied driving conditions too (city, highway, mountain roads).
I read on a European site that these 22ās are more...
