I’ve got the assisted parking to work 3 times after several attempts. I’ve struggled to figure out how it decides to detect a spot. When it does, it does a great job parking. But it’s pretty annoying to drive SLOWLY by an obvious spot and not have it recognized.
My SA sent me a video to watch...
They think the ac lines are pinched. They mentioned something about a service bulletin about this. They are ordering new lines from Atlanta. They think it could take up to a week to repair after the parts arrive.
Bit shocked by this. Shouldn’t they have caught this during the vehicle...
We picked up our 4 on Oct 19. At handover, we noticed the ac wasn’t working. Specifically, when we turn the ac on, it immediately turns off. The SA said she’d have a service tech call us to schedule an appointment. She didn’t. Sigh.
We took it in today and are waiting to hear the prognosis. The...
I’m sensitive to the regen feeling. It was definitely present when we were driving miles 13-75 after we switched it on. Also, hard to explain our excellent consumption without the presence of regen.
We picked up our car yesterday and spent today driving around the Bay Area. When we got home, I used Diego’s help to check out the consumption stats. I was a little surprised. Pleasantly.
Today and yesterday we drove 65 miles. The dealer gave us the car fully charged. We did not charge last...
We just picked up our car yesterday. I really enjoy seeing consumption figures like what Diego posted. I cannot find where on the app the above graphs are found. Could someone help me out? Many thanks in advance.
I have an email with the 6 month payoff amount and it’s consistent with what they said. I’ll let you know what happens in real life as it seems too fair and simple to be true:).
I just had an informative conversation with the US finance people at my dealer. Here’s the scoop.
- there is no prepayment penalty on a 24 month lease
- however, if you pay it off before 6 months, Porsche will not have received the $7,500 EV credit from the government, so you’d have to pay...
We got a call from our SA this morning and were told our car at the dealership. Very surprised. We asked how Porsche pulled off the repair in 3 days and they had no details and were as surprised as we were.
We went to dealership to check it out and detected nothing wrong. So all is good. We...
Our SA called last night. They heard from the port that it was just a scratched rear bumper. Porsche is airfreighting a new one from Germany. The estimated port departure date is Oct 25. Might have it for Halloween if the software installation goes smoothly. Fingers crossed.
We were told that Porsche North America (PCNA) inspects all cars before they leave the port of Benicia. If damage is detected, the car is not released from the port to the dealer. Rather PCNA orders the parts from Germany and they are replaced at the port by PCNA staff. When the damage is...
The dealership told me this morning they should have the details by Monday morning. They are trying hard, but Porsche North America isn’t very transparent with the dealers. Your dealer needs good contacts to get the scoop.
Our SA told us the car has been updated with a port release date of 10/27. She feels the only way it could be this fast is very minor damage. She is reaching out to higher ups to find out the exact issue and will get back to us shortly.
Many thanks for the guidance. I’ll keep you informed when...
We ordered our highly optioned car in March. We were due to pick it up next week. As you can imagine, we were a bit excited.
Unfortunately, Porsche just called and said our car was damaged during shipment. They couldn’t /wouldn’t provide specifics.
They explained that they have to have...
I’m equally confused as I had the same understanding you did.

I even saw an interview between the head of CATL and senior porsche execs talking about how they were supplying the battery for the macan ev.
I...
I use the Porsche Finder to display Macan 4's that are available to purchase. The Porsche Finder shows the lease price on the search results ( exclusive of taxes).
This is what it shows for a Macan 4 with a list price of $105,110:
- the lease rate is $1,344 for 39 months with $10,500 down...
Here is mine. We got to see Provence in person and loved it; definitely does not look like the configurator rendering.
We also decided to do the Blackberry interior as it seemed to work well with Provence.
Never thought I’d end up in a purple Porsche:). Never say never...
My BA in San Francisco does not have any, but you can put your name on the waitlist for free. That's what I did and I only had to wait about 3 months. PM me if you want his contact info.
