2026 Macan announcement predictions

As I mentioned in this thread, I have a suspicion the new 2026 Macan might be announced this week, specifically tomorrow. I just updated my chart to overlay the Google search interest from the 2025 Macan vs 2026 Macan. As you can see, the spike in searches for the 2025 model happened this week, following the Tuesday July 16 2025 announcement of the base and 4s models.

What do you all think? Is tomorrow the day we see the new model? Any colors you'd like to see?

Here's a few fun ones I picked out from the configuration tool:

• Light Oxford Grey (reminiscent of chalk)
• Auratium Green (cool and different)
• Yachting Blue Metallic (rich and authoritative)

Not that I know of. I'm just going by last years press event and the rising search interest. I honestly don't know if they pre-announce that there will be a press event, or if they just roll out the press release on the day of the event, and nobody is allowed to speak about it until that day due to embargoes.

Even if it's not tomorrow, I would expect the '26 models to be announced sometime in the next few weeks to get orders produced and delivered before the end of the year.
