Currently got the AA helplessly trying to get my 4S going again after a load of warning lights came on including

‘please charge battery’
‘Charging not possible’
‘High voltage system fault’
‘Drive system control fault’
‘Battery charge critical’

Car was showing about 60% charge. Wife left it for 5 minutes whilst picking up daughter and when got back in all the warning lights and no ability to drive.

Tried reading a few threads and had hoped leaving it off for a bit and turning back on would fix it but no luck so far.

Might be a coincidence but has just used up our monthly data a few minutes before.

Anyone had similar and anything worth trying to get it working again?

thanks

Turn it off, leave the car, lock it and stay away from it (with the key fob) for 30 minutes - go grab a coffee kinda thing - and try again.

Thanks. Car had stopped in not the ideal position to leave and Porsche had sent the breakdown man but will try that if it happens again.

The breakdown man unplugged the high voltage battery and then plugged it in again and it worked (although perhaps it was just the period of time the car had been off for whilst he was trying and failing to get to reset the 12V battery). Either way glad to have a working car again although now a bit nervous about the long drive doing in the morning.
