Differential lock failure

Got into the car yesterday and saw this error as soon as it powered up. Only 950km. Internet search doesn’t turn up much. Has anyone had this issue? I was able to drive off without issue but looks like I should take it in.

Is that error persistent or did it go away after turning the car off and walking away for a while? The diff lock is electronic like almost everything else in the car, so this could have been an intermittent communications issue.

Right, I should have mentioned that the error message went away but then reappeared shortly after. When I parked it in the garage yesterday evening, the warning was gone again. With luck it won’t reappear. I’ll post an update soon in case it’s helpful to others.

I got the same error on my brand new Macan just before I was about to drive out of the Porsche Centre Showroom! They had to replace the control unit at the rear of the car.

it's weird but the majority of errors ppl get with the Macan, go away after just turning it off and letting the car sit for a few minutes..

Thankfully that looks like the case here. The message is gone now. Hopefully that’s the last of it ?
