Besides PIWIS and Porsche does anyone know of a way to gain access on documents on how to take things apart / put back together?
Trying to get my bumper off and also get access to the battery to add an 12V maintainer as my car is parked for a longer period of time.

You can make use of the PCSS (formerly TSI) for technical service information. The access is meant for independent workshops and is billed on time basis.

As I understand, the information on how to maintain and service your car must not be exclusive to the PAG dealers. For instance, this is called TOPIx over at JLR.

https://www.porsche.com/internation...e/additionalinformation/independentworkshops/

You might need help from a shop to register or access it.

i just took the car apart to get access to the battery...and it's beyond a pain. It's truly NOT designed for owners to access. All the frunk needs to come out as well as the crossbar for the chassis! However, there is a fuse relay you can without hooking on the battery itself...but at that point, the only work youre saving yourself is taking off the cross bar cuz you still have to remove the whole frunk to get that relay...
what exactly where you trying to do that you needed direct access to the battery? there are post in the trunk and in the front bumper you can attach to charge the batter w/o taking the car apart?

but otherwise, the take the whole frunk apart to access the battery, you need nothing more than a plastic pry bar thingy for all the clips, a 10mm socket, and 20 torx

Thank you very much.
I need to get to the negative and plus poles of the battery. I need to screw on the battery maintainer. For a permanent install. And only going through the openings that are there I can not get to loosen the screws to add another contact to the plus pole.

you want to put a terminal on with a plug/quick connect ? so you can plug in without clamping onto the battery?

Well, you should start by removing the wipers.
take the caps off, then it's a 13mm bolt i think to remove the nuts on them. There is lil room for this and the wipers are on hard...i skipped this. But it makes later steps much easier
Take off all frunk plastics. Start with the rubber ring.

Everything is pull/pry or held in with pressure clips.
12 & 10 are under the felt liner. 14 & 15 are the light and emergency release that go through the felt liner and must be released before the felt liner comes out.
Once you've got all the frunk plastic out, you're left with the frunk bucket.

This is alllllll one piece that cover the entire bay...

Now, this should be all would need to do (in a perfect world)...the relay is visible at this point, but I think the bucket block you from opening it all the way.
so now you would to proceed to remove the bucket.
it's held in by about 10 10mm sockets and 8 20T screws.
those 20T screws are hidden under the cowl/wiper panel. You will need a VERY low profile tool to unscrew them without taking the cowl/wipers off.

If you do it without taking that cowl off, the bucket has enough flex to come out with a lil force.
But this is the hardest part of everything.
Once the bucket is out, you'll almost home. I would suggest using the relay instead of direct to the battery because the battery cover it blocked by the suspension cross bar.
both will need to be removed

OTHERWISE you can hook up to the relay which is now fully accessable. there's an unused bolt as well. and you can connect to the ground termin as well, which is not blocked, or ground to one of the other billion grounds in the frunk .

relay you may want to use.
