Google Maps and HUD/dash turn directions fixed in iOS 26.5

Many fo us noticed that in recent iOS releases, the turn directions stopped showing in the drivers dash and the HUD. Today's release of iOS 26.5 fixed it.

I also get lane guidance in the HUD with Google Maps again with this fix.

I can confirm that the iOS update has fixed the missing directions from my HUD in Australia also.

After the last Apple update, the directions do indeed work. The map on the central tube still doesn’t for Google Maps

ABRP and Waze do display there, but Google Maps simply show text about Car Play displaying the map.

Is that just me?
