Wondering if this has happened to anyone.

This afternoon, I was in my house and just happened to look outside to see the hazard indicators on my Macan 4 flashing. I had just come home from church two hours prior, and the hazard indicators were certainly not flashing when I got out of my Macan, parked on my driveway.

I immediately pulled up the My Porsche app on my iPhone; interestingly, I was completely logged out of the app.

I went outside to check on the Macan - it hadn’t been hit, and I doubt that it had been tampered with, on a Sunday afternoon in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Once I opened and then closed the driver’s door, the hazards stopped. I also logged back into the My Porsche app without any issues.

Any thoughts from anyone? This has never happened previously to me.

The only time I have seen the hazards on my car was a couple of weeks ago when the alarm went off while the car was parked in the parking structure at the office. The app alerted me about the alarm — I didn’t even know it could do that.

I couldn’t find any evidence that someone tried to get into my car. I suspect that the parking structure shook enough from another vehicle driving past to set off the alarm. Maybe something fell on your car from a tree?

Of course the notification would not have worked in your case because something logged you out, but the alarm would explain the hazard lights.

Thanks - fortunately the Macan wasn’t parked near any trees etc. Very odd / coincidental occurrence to have the hazards self-activate and be logged out of My Porsche app.
