Well, I had some extra plastic sheet sitting in the garage, so I decided to ‘patch’ the huge trailer hitch cutout. Some plastic JB Weld, and a little time; I think it came out pretty well. Can’t see anything from 10’ away. View attachment 68617

Excellent solution.

This project inspired me to use my 3D printer to create a custom plate for my Macan Turbo. Since the Bambu Lab X1C has a maximum print size of 25×25 cm, I designed the plate in multiple parts.

The final design consists of three pieces that merge into one: left and right sections, plus a top bar. Together, they form a recessed channel that securely locks the pieces into the cutout.

BTW, I used ABS filament to print the plates. It took 3 hours 40 minutes to finish three pieces.
