I am a very new Macan 4 EV owner and first time Porsche owner. This is also my first really fast car. I have a question about how to get the best acceleration from the Macan 4, when doing an "acceleration demo" for friends, etc.
First, does launch control make a big difference? I haven't tried it yet.
Second, putting launch control aside, sometimes, when I floor it, the car throws me back in my seat like an amusement park ride. Yes!!! Other times, it takes off fast, but not really impressively fast. I can't tell what the difference is or how I can control it.
It almost seems like if the car is already rolling forward slowly, when I floor it, the jump to hyperspace is more impressive and sudden. Just flooring it from a standstill seems to give more mixed results.
Anyone have a view on this? Is this a known thing about how the car interprets the throttle?
Thanks!
