I’ve had my new Macan since Monday, and honestly, it’s an amazing car. However, there’s one issue I’ve come across here in Greece, where temperatures can get extremely high — for example, yesterday it went over 44°C.
The cooling systems work very aggressively when you stop the car, especially right after parking. As a result, if you’re near a beach or on a dirt road, the amount of dust that gets kicked up is massive — it creates a cloud that really bothers anyone nearby.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or ideas on how to reduce it?
One thing I discovered on my own that seems to help a bit is not turning on the air conditioning right away. I also noticed that when the battery level passes a certain marker on the gauge — there’s a kind of bar that looks like a little fence — the cooling system seems to kick in, presumably to manage battery temperature.
I’d appreciate any input from someone who understands the system better or has found other ways to deal with this!
