My drivers door handle intermittently sticks and takes a couple of pulls to open with some resistance on the first pull.
took to dealer and it worked perfectly!
Standard remote key opening.

anyone else had similar or any ideas.

thanks!

Yes, I noticed this, too. I asked the dealer to look at it when I took my car in for the recent backup camera recall. They told me that it happens because the inside handle is really just an electronic switch that you only have to pull lightly. Pulling hard, as if it were a mechanical handle, actually causes the unlatching not to work. (I suppose it's like the "open door" buttons that were way you opened the doors in my former Tesla Model Y.)

I still pull too hard sometimes, and have to pull twice, but when I remember to be gentle, it does work on the first try. It's a poor design, but it's one of the few minor nitpicks I have with my car. The Model Y had a lot more (rough suspension, random automatic wipers, constant "bongs").

I didn't know the interior handle was electric. This is a bit concerning. How do you open the door in the event of a crash or power loss?

Good question. The Model Y had emergency releases handles separate from the electronic buttons, which new passengers always used even if you told them not to. (Even Tesla had some bad UX.)

I'm hoping the Porsche handles double as manual releases, which would explain why when we pull them twice, the door eventually opens.
