Took deliver of the Macan EV Turbo in mid-November. Overall the car drives and handles AMAZINGLY WELL and has exceeded my expectations.
However, there are a few items that I hope Porsche will update and resolve soon and which I feel will make this terrific car a great car.
First, the Bose audio system is subpar. For a premium $110K + vehicle there should more than just Base and Treble controls. One should be able to adjust the mid-range and sub-woofer frequencies.
Second, the sun visor, which does not extend/slide is virtually useless and at times dangerous. With the sun low during the winter months, the driver & passenger visors should slide and be replaced as a safety hazard.
Third, after a couple of weeks of driving, my rear trunk / lift gate is constantly getting stuck and jammed. At times it won't open or close properly.
I've set up a service appointment with the dealer to cure the problem. Not what I had expected after a few weeks of ownership.
On range, with average, long distance highway driving at 75 miles per hour... on a full charge, I'm getting 250 to 260 miles. I had hoped for a bit more, but to be fair, this car really wants to move.... and easily it does.
Again, I'm happy with this car, but there some annoying issues that took me by surprise from an auto-maker such as Porsche.
