Hi everyone! My 2025 has started doing something weird - it is not charging to my set point. I have it set to charge to 80%, but it stops at 75%. The app gives me a notification that the target of 80% has been reached, but when I open the app, it’s at 75%, and in the car it says 75%. I’m using a home charger if that makes a difference.

Any ideas as to what’s going on?

Thanks!

When are you seeing 75%? Is it immediately after you get the notification, or is it the next day?

if it’s the next day, the cars software is confused about state of charge, and balances the battery cells when the car is off. Some difference isn’t unusual, but 5% is a lot.

My own car would go UP 3-4% after a charge to a limit.

I did a battery calibration reset recently that has significantly improved this. Here’s the thread on this https://www.macanevowners.com/forum...rebalancing-after-erratic-soc-readings.25084/

Both the app and the car report 75% immediately upon achieving the target charge of 80%. The app pinged me that the car was at 80% and done charging, so I opened the app and it said 75%.

Last charge was the first time it did this, and it did not rebalance. I will have to see what happens with it today.

This might be the Charging App in the car being confused about what limit is actually set. A reset of the PCM to reload that app might get it back in sync

Hold down the central volume knob button for 30s to force the PCM reboot. Although a profile change might also be enough to relaunch the app.
