greetings everybody.

future macan 4s owner currently located in athens, greece. i was looking for a an EV since i daily commute around 100kms 3 to 4 times a week and the cars we currently own are not exactly friendly for city driving. test drove several evs and plug in hybrids (byd, volvo, tesla, bmw) before looking at the macan. some of the cars mentioned where pretty good considering their price but the whole experience from the dealers was horrendous. what really made me choose the macan was the first and foremost the feeling that you are driving a heavy but nimble sports hatch and secondly the whole experience from the moment i stepped into the dealer's premises. not to mention the two day test drive that we did on a macan turbo. order placed mid april. we were given a delivery time sometime in September. i have added an offroad front spoiler but not the entire offroad package as roof rails have no use to me.

Pretty sure 4S is what I want, but happy to hear why Turbo should be considered.

Love the gold 22" wheels but a little worried about ride quality vs 20" and scraping them up on the curb. Maybe I should get some 20" wheels powder coated gold instead. But I also don't like the idea of loosing traction...

Good spec. With regards to the Turbo, I wavered, but by the time I broached the subject with the SA, the allocation of Turbos (to Vancouver Porsche at least) had dried up - talk to them now if you're thinking seriously of the Turbo. I will be perfectly happy with the 4S when it arrives, and the bank balance will be happier too.

There are quite a few posts recently from Turbo owners who've had 4 or 4S loaners whilst theirs were in the shop and they seem positive.

Motor Trend says 3.6 seconds to 60 MPH in a 4S. I am one whose Turbo has been in the shop (though nicely back out now). I never got a 4S loader but found less Macan loaners are just fine once underway. If however you like drag-stripping off a traffic light or stop sign line, you might stay with a Turbo. However, I will not hesitate ordering a 4S next time.

My order is officially in. No production date yet. Confirmed it will be a MY26. Expected roughly Jan/Feb.

I ended up ordering both the 22" gold RS Spyders and the 20" Macan S wheels with winter tires.

Stuck with the 4S.

What's the benefit of ISOFIX in the front seat? In the US, it's not legal to put a car seat in the front passenger seat. Is that common in the UK, or is there another use for those latches?

All that black and you don't want to do the darkened lights?

• Tinted Matrix LED Main Headlights
• Tinted LED taillights including light strip (this includes the matte black PORSCHE logo option you selected)

I'd steer clear of the electric charging port cover, given all of the issues that it's had.

With the problems we had with our power charge port door (once so serious it was a damn good thing we had enough electrons left to make it to our closest dealership 35 miles away for none of the three factory optional methods would work and both doors were frozen shut) — though now fixed, our next Macan will not have the power charge port door. Give us spring loaded next time.

ISOFIX is future proofing. Not hugely common to use the front seat in the UK but does happen and given this is a four year lease and where I am in family life, it may be needed in extreme cases.

The additional ‘stealth’ was on the build originally but there were a couple of things having to be shaved from the build to a)keep it sub £100k, our fleet insurer doesn’t like private vehicles over that value and b) was hitting the limit on the allowance I was provided so they went after a visit to the dealer found to my eye there was very little difference.

A friend has a Q6 and his charge port was ripped off in an act of vandalism and another friend has had electric ports on his Taycan for a number of years without issue. Combined, seemed like a logical option. Some digging on here may lead to a change when spec is locked.

Ah yes, those two are certainly some of the less impactful changes for blacking things out. I had to get the dealer to show me in the shop because online they are almost identical.
