Porsche can’t fix the software for CarPlay and phone voice commands !

Hi ,
How safe it is to drive a Porsche if you cannot use voice commands to pass a call !
Or, imagine you are on a motorway and you need to call your boss… voice commands do not work to pass the call because in Porsche , while CarPlay is connected through a cable , Siri stops working.
You might unplug the cable to pass your call … but, you know in Porsche , when you unplug the cable , you have to connect the phone to the car …again !
Very dangerous manoeuvre when you are driving such a performing car !!!!

When you complain, you can hear things like Porche focuses on the driving experience and not on multimedia !!!!

I just want to remind Porsche that if basics like phoning and CarPlay are not working , the driving experience is as poor as a low range car with CarPlay and phone working correctly… please get the job done .. it has been 7 months that Porsche center promise to resolve the issue .

Any reason you don't use wireless carplay?

Not allowed by Porsche in Morocco and in MENA region in general . Porsche has developed a specific software for the region to enable only wired CarPlay . But it doesn’t work and Porsche don’t give a damn to fix it !

Have you tried long pressing the voice button on the left side of the steering wheel?

"Hey Porsche" doesn't work for you to make calls? I have CarPlay enabled but honestly I never use "Siri" for things and just do it through the built in system.

Making calls through Siri is much safer than going through hundreds of contacts in the built in system. We are une the AI era not in 2010!!

Besides , Porsche should listen to customer needs and enhance their systems if they have the vision to stay in the upper end of the market… such functions work perfectly in BMW and BYD , why not with Porsche?
You don’t expect such troubles with a brand like Porsche … but probably it is the start of their decline … the Chinese are doing much better !!

Okay, but I don't need to go through all my contacts just to make a call so maybe there's something else that's missing.
