Had an issue with battery balancing (200 km range @ 100% SOC and charge speeds on DCFC 300 kW chargers providing less than 30 kWh) and ended up taking car to dealer to see if their PIWIS would indicate some required updates.
The technician noticed that my PCM route/charge planner had a destination SOC set at 2% and said that was the reason I had such a poor recharge performance notwithstanding battery preconditioning and battery well below 25% SOC.
I continuously modify the route planner's parameters, e.g. destination SOC and the SOC for the enroute charging stations, to allow me to favour and tallor preferred charging stations, e.g. Electrify Canada (they're free, duh).
The techs were adamant that I was the artesan of my own low battery balancing and recharging issues because of the destination SOC % less than 5%.
I think they theoretical knowledge is great but as far as operational experience actually road tripping in these cars goes, they are somewhat lacking.
