Recall 2024 Macan 4 Check your vin

Interesting! I tried to book an appointment for the recall online and received a message that yes, the car was being recalled but they don't have parts available. Thankfully I haven't had any of the issues being checked so I'll just hold for now and see how things go into the summer.

The only part would be a new camera and you would know you need it if it is fogging up because moisture is getting in past the bonding. Most of the recall is software. I would call them and get them to do the inspection and software, and then, if the camera is needed and they don't have it they can schedule another one. I only say this because it is really unlikely you will need a new camera but they could save the existing camera if they notice the need to rebond it. Anyway, its what I got from chatting with the service guy.

Recall completed in a day. Gave me one of the first Macan 4s (vin 000222) as a loaner. Haven't noticed any difference yet in the software but I guess that's a good thing!

Mine is in for the recall today and the WSD0 update too.

I got a base 2025 Macan with an engine as a loaner. The brakes are soft, and the gas pedal needs a lot of input to make it go even in Sport mode! I drove a Macan S earlier this year, and that was a much better experience, but I think I'd need to be in a GTS to even get close to my 4S performance.
