Tire pressure drop

Hi all,

I picked up my car about two weeks ago after some repair on the front bumper and after I drove away from the workshop I realised that the tire pressure on the right rear was low (around 2 bars). Filled it up and no complaints. I still thought it was a bit odd since I’ve had the car for about 2 months. Today when I got in the car, I got another warning of low tire pressure on the right rear tire (I’ve been diving almost every day in between).

Need to get it checked but is the tire leaking?

Classic slow leak - take it to a good tire shop. It will only continue or get worse.

A top-up of pressure twice in a couple of weeks - very likely it is leaking, I'd get it checked before it decides to leak more quickly whilst you are at high speed.

I’ve had that - it’s very likely a nail or screw in your tire. Should be easy to plug and fix.

This is how I got screwed...

My tireshop (absolute hero's) advised me to leave it in there, top off the tire and to come over to have it plugged.

I had the exact same issue. Turned out to be a screw in the tire but on the side so needed a new tire. All good and happy days again

Wow, how did you manage to get screwed sideways? Is someone shooting screws at Macans in London?

Lol. Funny store is that it happened when it was in for repair so not sure if it happened in the workshop
