Two things you can do with these displays.

1. You can hide specific options from the dial options when you scroll between them. e.g you can hide the Tire Pressure one so you never see it in the left tube. This helps keep only the data interesting to you available. This is in the Display Settings area.

2. Some downloaded apps can provide a widget for the 3 panel PCM display. I have the Accuweather one configured, and given it access to Location services so it's always my current location.

Is there a setting to get the altitude to display? ... don't see it on my dash...

This is the same config that I use for mine.
Left Tube for battery.
Right tube for trip data to monitor efficiency.
HUD with speedometer and regen bar.
The center tube is mostly on navigation but IF the radar sensor screen was better that would be my preference since I would just use navigation on the center PCM instead.
