Apple Maps in HUD

Recently picked up my Macan 4 - love it so far. Initially Apple Maps worked fine in HUD - I didn't do anything special - and now - no show. Directions only show up on the main screen in Apple Play/Maps. It's probably me - any suggestion on how to routinely se it there? Special steps?

Not that I am specifically aware of - I'll give it a try - thanks for the response !

If you click the button to the right of that scroll wheel, you’ll see white outlines that cycle through the different gauges on the dash in front of of you. Press that button until the middle section is highlighted, then use the scroll wheel to cycle through the different view options until you get the maps back. There are two versions of the maps you can choose from
