Brake squeaking

Hi! Love my 2025 Macan 4s EV, but brakes squeal or make a strange noise when stopping and starting. Almost as if an auto emergency brake goes on and off. More noticeable on hills, but also does it on flat land. .

I get that noise but only when stopping and then only as momentum unloads and car rocks back from full stop. It is a squeak sort of sound. I have been hoping it is a break in issue on the brakes as I am less than 1,000 miles.

I hope so too. I have 240 miles so far.

i don't have any squeal when stopping...sometimes i get it while driving though... it's as if the car is taking a measurement of the pads for a brief second, then stops.

but if you get this every time you stop, i wonder if you're hearing the spoiler...tha's very audible too

I think I have this as well. I describe this more like a grunt/groan but I think same thing. It occurs when I’m trying to come to a stop as slow and smooth as possible. Have you had any idea if this is normal or not?

Did your squeak go away after break in? I picked up my Macan 4S a week ago and my brakes also squeak if I'm coming to a very gentle stop, or trying to creep less than 1mph while parking.

Mine did this starting a few days after taking delivery and lasting for two or three days before stopping and has never returned. Suspect it's nothing you need worry about unless it's still doing it in couple of weeks.
