Any brave BC Canada souls taken their Macan up to Whistler and successfully used Innodrive yet?

Reviving an old thread with a tangentially relevant answer. Tesla Model 3 with the latest FSD owner here - it can't successfully get from Horseshoe Bay to my house. It occasionally wants to swing over the road to a few random side roads (it signals, which is nice, but given it's got the route and knows there are no turns until you get to my street it's perplexing). If I coddle it home, it then makes such a mess of the final left turn that I always have to intervene. Recent versions have stopped the annoying habit of stopping for each of the flashing overhead "90" signs in the variable speed section.

It handles the fun bit from town up to Squamish very well, keeping nice and neat between the lines and for the most part maintaining a good pace (bit of surging and over-cautious braking for bends). But where's the fun in that? This is our own local mini Tail of the Dragon - nobody would have autopilot on for this bit unless they wanted to gawp at the scenery.

In conclusion, I'm not speccing Innodrive in the Macan!

I’m glad I spec’d InnoDrive. I spent 90 minutes on congested freeways two days ago and not having to deal with steering, accelerating and braking made the drive far less stressful and more relaxing.

If you use it appropriately and have reasonable expectations, it’s fantastic.

Absolutely not dissing Innodrive - but the Sea to Sky is a little different to those freeways around LA. One or two lanes at most, extremely bendy, populated mostly by psychotic truck drivers with lane-crossing tendencies or dawdling sightseers (it really is a beautiful road, the 99). Little chance to sit back and let the computer take the strain. If I was a big freeway user I'd definitely spec it.

The only way to get adaptive cruise control in my US model 4S is with the innodrive package. Thats the only innodrive feature I use and why I spec'd it.

Lane keeping in my Macan tends to drive left of center which I don't like.... but that may just be me. Out on a relatively open highway it works well. But I don't drive those often. On a winding highway or country road its just scary, but then I don't trust it.

Weird! The Canadian spec includes it as standard. Porsche taking price differentiation to new levels.
