Absolutely not dissing Innodrive - but the Sea to Sky is a little different to those freeways around LA. One or two lanes at most, extremely bendy, populated mostly by psychotic truck drivers with lane-crossing tendencies or dawdling sightseers (it really is a beautiful road, the 99). Little chance to sit back and let the computer take the strain. If I was a big freeway user I'd definitely spec it.I’m glad I spec’d InnoDrive. I spent 90 minutes on congested freeways two days ago and not having to deal with steering, accelerating and braking made the drive far less stressful and more relaxing.
If you use it appropriately and have reasonable expectations, it’s fantastic.
Weird! The Canadian spec includes it as standard. Porsche taking price differentiation to new levels. The only way to get adaptive cruise control in my US model 4S is with the innodrive package. Thats the only innodrive feature I use and why I spec'd it.
