I’ve PPF and ceramic coated my last 2 vehicles. It does not make financial sense, but it does give a sense of relief from things banging into the front end whether it’s rocks or random debris on the highway. With that said after a couple years the PPF can start to look not great where edges are...
I’ve seen a few Porsche turbos on sale used with low miles (under 1000) on Porsche finder. I imagine they were buy backs from unsatisfied purchasers for various reasons.
-lane assist is very aggressive, turn it off
-loose steering feel may be attributed to the rear wheel steer if you have that option, i felt the same way gets some getting used to at lower speeds.
-software issues with apple CarPlay and screen responsiveness should be helped with a system reboot...
You kind of have no choice but to sit as low as possible because the steering column doesn’t go that high up and you’d block the gauges. I think Porsche did this on purpose to have drivers sit lower and feel more sporty. I’d sit higher if I could without blocking the gauges personally.
AC not working again. Maybe about a month since last service to fix the same issue. Last time the excuse was no refrigerant from factory. Don’t know what it will be this time. Haven’t seen any evidence of a leak, but acting the same as last time. Toggle on AC or Max and it auto toggles to off...
Battery is using some pretty standard chemistry. I’ve never heard of doing this on any electric vehicle and don’t think it’s necessary. Only the iron phosphate batteries may need some 0-100 occasionally for calibration. We don’t have that chemistry though.
Yea I was a little surprised about the discussion in video about $2k price tag for the upgrade on all US specs it was $6k-7k for the upgrade to Burm. For $2k no brainer.
My sync has been greyed out after resetting the vehicle to get plug and charge to work. Dont want to reset again to possibly lose plug and charge and have to reset my garage buttons.. have been manually changing which is kinda crazy for a 2024 electric vehicle..
So forgot to post back. Creaking definitely decreased after the fix which was basically cleaning and lubricating the tracks and rubber. Larger speed bumps at an angle I still hear something creaking / rattling. I may bring it up again but since it’s hard to reproduce now don’t know if it will be...
Full set of Christmas lights went up on my dash. Guess I’ve joined the club on these sensor issues.. happened on a Sunday after a short stop at a store. Got back in and all the lights and warning started up. First time. Haven’t checked back after getting home and shutting down the car.
Actually it wasn’t even one point. They were scored the same, he just listed the Porsche on top. His scoring takes into consideration “value” so pricing of the turbo worked against it in that category compared to the GV60.
