Had RAS on my previous Taycan, but on this Macan, the U-turns and parking lot maneuvers feel even tighter. Wheelbase on Taycan and Macan EV are nearly the same but Macan is shorter vehicle nose to tail, so perhaps that's why the RAS feels even better in parking maneuvers. RAS is fantastic at...
Love this car so far. I traded in my '23 Taycan GTS and so far no regrets.
Ordered in February, built in March, sat in Emden for a month until finally arriving at the Port of Baltimore on May 7. My SA explained that because this was a customer-order placed before tariffs went into effect, it...
Does anybody have this one?
Front Trunk Liner - Macan EV : Suncoast Porsche Parts & Accessories
If so, how's the fit?
I have a tuxmat one on my Taycan and it's been useful because I sometimes carry stuff that might leak fluid in the frunk and have already had a few spills where the frunk...
Well, my Turbo just arrived at the dealership. It was held at Emden for a month (probably due to Tariff situation) and arrived at Baltimore on May 7, then hung around Baltimore port for another 10 days, but now it's finally been transported to my dealership.
No tariff. Actually, there is a...
Track your Dream has been pretty spot-on for me with my last 3 Porsche orders (Taycan, 911, Macan EV), without more than a couple of days delay in updating info, and the ETA also being within days or at most a week early/late.
And this latest Macan Turbo I have on order was reported by...
I'm not talking about the HV battery, I'm referring to the small 12V battery it has and the issues some have had in both the Taycan and Macan EV not being charged by the HV battery properly when parked for a long period of time. I've never had this problem with my Taycan that has been parked...
Same situation here. My Turbo started production 3/14 and it's been sitting at Emden since 3/26.
If it sits longer, I wonder what kind of battery maintenance they do (if any) for cars sitting at ports for extended periods of time.
Good news for some of you... sadly, mine hasn't even left Emden yet.
It's starting to really look like a tariff sammich for me... that I'm definitely not planning on eating :)
Oh you mean like how you policed my reply to the thread to begin with?
Must be ok for you to do it, hypocrite. My original reply wasn’t directed at you but to the thread in general since the topic was digital car key and this happened to be a topic that influenced our recent car purchase...
Nope. Not moving goalposts, not concealing anything. I didn't mention the other reasons because 1) the other reasons don't mean anything because ultimately digital key really was the main reason she chose the X5 over the Cayenne with the two being evenly matched otherwise, and 2) that is...
Reading comprehension much? Read my original post again to which you replied to, and no where did I mention the lack of digital key was the sole reason we didn't choose the Porsche. It was ultimately the deal-breaker, but not the only reason. You are simply arguing over your failure to...
Digital key is not inconsequential at all. Like someone else said on this thread, people will place a different value on certain features. Some would say the availability of manual transmissions on some 911 models is inconsequential because "PDK is better" but for me, I will keep buying...
Well that’s a bit of an elitist comment... why wouldn’t we be in the market for a Cayenne and cross-shop it with an X5? They are pretty comparable in certain trims, and in my wife’s case she wanted a comfortable V8 SUV to replace her SQ7, so we were looking at a Cayenne S vs X5 M60i. Ride...
My car is still at the factory and eta is not until late April/early May, but I have already decided that I'm only going to buy a $137k Macan Turbo and not a $171k one. I'm walking if it's the latter and I'm not going to stress over it until then.
Porsche already lost a sale in my household because of this. When my wife needed a new daily driver, the Cayenne's lack of digital key made her choose a BMW X5 instead. Even I enjoy our BMW's digital key feature - I hate carrying fobs around. Wish my Taycan and 911 had it. Didn't stop me...
I spec'd Electric Sport Sound on my Taycan GTS and love it. I will admit that after a while, the novelty of the sound wore off and I got tired of it, so I mostly leave it off now. That said, I still turn it on occasionally when I let the car rip and it does still add to the excitement of an...
Headrest adjustability and massage are what made me choose comfort over sport seats. I do love the side bolstering of the sport 18-way seats but I figured on a daily driver like the Macan, I would appreciate the massage and headrest adjustability more.
