Having owned 28 different cars in the last 20 years, Iāve noticed itās really only the SUVs (X5, Q7, Q5, GLE, Touareg, Escalade.etc) with the more vertical rear window thatās in the same plane as the rear bumper that accumulates enough snow, salt, dirt, moisture to requires a rear wiper to...
Well I was at least expecting it to fly off the shelves for the first few months of being available to buy just like any new hyped-up car that gets glowing reviews from the media does. I guess the hype died down pretty quickly for this one. I remember seeing a lot more Taycans on the road...
Good point. I might have to change the belts to limestone. I can only go by configurator rendering, and based on that it looked close enough in colorway to me, but still not really sure myself now that you mentioned it. There's still a turbonite badge on the steering wheel so it maybe it at...
Considered that too. But I also noticed that since the standard tubonite "Turbo" logo looks discreet enough already over frozen blue, and that I'm taking off the electric badges regardless, might as well keep the "free" standard turbonite Turbo badge.
I live and work in a big city and really surprised that I've only seen 1 in the wild. I would've thought these would be flying off the shelves because they drive great, but the reality so far is that I've seen a ton of them sitting at multiple dealership lots now but hardly any on the road...
Updated the build. Changed wheels to sport 22" and also changed some options based on some helpful feedback from the replies on this thread. Thanks!

What I'm on the fence about now is whether or not I should go with glacier blue headlights and rear light...
It's just a reminder not to exceed that speed because the factory installed tires are only rated at that maximum speed. Many models can be spec'd with either all-season or high-performance summer tires so this sticker will depend on the equipped tires' speed rating.
I know the rear wouldnāt have model designation with illumination, but Iām hoping it will at least be in carbon fiber to match the fronts. No mention of this in the description though.
Looks great! The blackberry leather package also comes with blackberry colored deviated stitching on the dash? Or are you referring to a specific color of deviated stitching youāve specād? I canāt really tell what color the stitching is from the lighting in the pics..
I have not tried it on the new Macan but will option it on my order because it works great on my current Taycan⦠hoping itāll be just as good on the Turbo that Iām ordering soon..
The carbon fiber I spec'd also has Neodyme inlays embedded in the carbon trim itself which gives it a warmer tone than the standard carbon fiber which is the rationale for also pairing it with Neodyme accents. Not too concerned about what look the ambient lighting will impart on any trim...
That does look good! I actually did have carbon fiber steering wheel in a previous iteration of my build but removed it because I spec'd the carbon fiber trim with Neodyme inlays instead of the the standard carbon fiber trim, which I feared might exceed my OCD threshold for not matching...
Good question. A few reasons: can't spec thermally & noise insulated glass with the rear wiper, rear wiper defaults to privacy glass which I don't like, and just don't like the look of it. I don't have rear wiper on my 911 either and Taycan's lack of rear wiper wasn't an issue as my current...
I thought about it, but neither PEC are close enough of a drive that Iād be willing to do on an EV. Atlanta is the closest and itās still 726 miles away. Next time I buy 911 or other ICE model, absolutely! But Iāve already experienced my share roadtrips on various electric cars and have come...
haha, yes Iām fully aware of the low readability of the PD sub-second clock because I already have this optioned on both my Taycan and 911. I wouldnāt say unreadable though because on both cars when I do turn up the backlighting via PCM menu, I can actually make out the time at night, but just...

Frozen Blue over Limestone with turbonite trim and rails retained, mirror caps and sideblades in carbon fiber, and turbonite-painted 21" Turbo wheels, and a bunch of fluff I probably don't need but still want.
I welcome any advice, feedback, or suggestions...
Definitely not necessary. Turbo is a beast even without it. That said, I always option sport chrono only so I can get the Porsche Design subsecond clock, which I've done for both of my most recent Porsches. I shall do the same for my Macan Turbo when I order one. That is really the only...
Is there any official word on when NACS charging ports will actually be installed on new cars from the factory or are rumors the best we have to go by for now?
Is Porsche holding off until 2026 models are built or are they just going keep installing CCS/J1772 ports until the parts bin runs dry...
