Frozen Blue over Limestone with turbonite trim and rails retained, mirror caps and sideblades in carbon fiber, and turbonite-painted 21" Turbo wheels, and a bunch of fluff I probably don't need but still want.

I welcome any advice, feedback, or suggestions over any details I may have missed.

And any regrets by a current owner regarding any options/specs you've chosen that match mine.

Only 2 weeks to check everything but the Passenger Display
This is just loaded and well-designed on the color front. I give up, cannot pick on anything.

May be one, spoke too soon, Porsche Design Clock, you are aware that it is not readable at night. Sports Chrono Clock is nicely lit up, but limited functional value. Design Clock is like a wristwatch with glow paint for hands and markers that do not get enough light to glow in the dark. The backlight does absolutely nothing to see hands or markers.

Since you are already pretty much going all out and spending $132k, why not throw another $1000 at it and take delivery at a PEC closest to you? Iā€™ve heard only glowing reports from those who did this and I was planning on it, too, before we bought our 4S off the dealer lot.

haha, yes Iā€™m fully aware of the low readability of the PD sub-second clock because I already have this optioned on both my Taycan and 911. I wouldnā€™t say unreadable though because on both cars when I do turn up the backlighting via PCM menu, I can actually make out the time at night, but just barely. Doesnā€™t matter anyway - I just like the look, especially during the day, and as an Apple Carplay user, thereā€™s always the time displayed on the main screen anyway for when the PD clock becomes less readable at night.

My 50 cents

Brake Calipers in High Gloss Black is maybe better with frozen, than default red ones?
considering all the carbon youā€™ve put, you could add Heated GT Sport Steering Wheel with Carbon Fiber Inlays. I didnā€™t take it, and Iā€™m sad šŸ˜”

and this one, which makes me smile each time I take my car: Door-Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber, Illuminated. So niiiiice!

You never know, so add Preparation for Porsche Dashcam.

Depending on your needs, you can save a lot with sticking with the Bose sound system

I thought about it, but neither PEC are close enough of a drive that Iā€™d be willing to do on an EV. Atlanta is the closest and itā€™s still 726 miles away. Next time I buy 911 or other ICE model, absolutely! But Iā€™ve already experienced my share roadtrips on various electric cars and have come to the conclusion that I just donā€™t have the patience for it even on a Tesla using Teslaā€™s great charging network.

I have not completely ruled it out though. It will all depend on how busy Iā€™ll be this summer.

I hear ya on the whole EV roadtrip thing. Might be worth seeing if theyā€™ll let you ā€œtake deliveryā€ at PEC to take advantage of the hospitality and track time in a ā€œsimilar carā€, but have the car shipped to your local dealer for the real delivery thereby avoiding the 726 mile EV roadtrip.

Agree with the carbon fiber steering wheel as itā€™s one a few things you can do to make it extra cool. See below. Also agree with black capers over red.

Also consider the rear Porsche logo in glacier blue I saw one at the showroom with your paint colour and that logo color and it was mesmerizing. Looks like a great match. Itā€™s hard to tell that in a configurator, but in person itā€™s spectacular..

It also had the glacier blue on the headlights, which looked very well suited.

I'm curious, as you live in Chicago: Why no rear wiper?
Good question. A few reasons: can't spec thermally & noise insulated glass with the rear wiper, rear wiper defaults to privacy glass which I don't like, and just don't like the look of it. I don't have rear wiper on my 911 either and Taycan's lack of rear wiper wasn't an issue as my current winter daily driver so I'm hoping I won't miss it on the Macan Electric since its rear window is sloped and not upright like the ICE Macan and other typical SUVs.

That does look good! I actually did have carbon fiber steering wheel in a previous iteration of my build but removed it because I spec'd the carbon fiber trim with Neodyme inlays instead of the the standard carbon fiber trim, which I feared might exceed my OCD threshold for not matching exactly with the carbon fiber on the steering wheel. Same reason why I didn't go with glacier blue rear logo because I've actually seen a frozen blue Taycan with glacier blue PORSCHE logo and it was different enough of a shade of blue that it did exceed my OCD threshold :)

Valid points about red brake calipers clashing with frozen blue. Doesn't trigger my OCD as much, but perhaps I'll make that change to black as well...

The carbon fiber on the doors will be subtle and not overdone but complement the interior with a carbon fiber inlay on the wheel. I got the standard plain black on the doors but would go with carbon on the doors if I was to redo it although I still like the black.

Also you say you have Neodyine on the door trim. I like that, but noticed if you put the beige ambient lighting on with the standard trim, the light reflects off of the standard trim and looks like you have tinted trim even in daylight. Have a look at in a demo car. Iā€™m only mentioning this because I felt that I didnā€™t need the neodynine after all to get the colour I was hoping for on the doors. itā€™s not identical to Neodyine but I thought it was better..strangely. The point is the ambient lighting changes the colour look of the trim and therefore the entire door. Worth looking at before locking in your build.

Looks loaded! As @byebye noted. Prep for dashcam just in case. Itā€™s only $140 and by the sound of it makes dashcam option easily if wanted in future

The carbon fiber I spec'd also has Neodyme inlays embedded in the carbon trim itself which gives it a warmer tone than the standard carbon fiber which is the rationale for also pairing it with Neodyme accents. Not too concerned about what look the ambient lighting will impart on any trim because those colors are changeable in PCM and will mostly dominate the overall mood of the interior at night. I think I just like the look of the Neodyme accents and the neodyme-inlaid carbon fiber trim in daytime natural light when paired with the slightly warmer limestone leather interior. If I had gone with chalk interior, I probably would've gone with the standard carbon fiber trim and black accents. This is great feedback and food for more thought though. Appreciate it!
