Does anyone know if adjusting your build/specs delays your delivery window or can I make changes until the freeze date without delaying delivery?

My order is submitted, deposit paid, but freeze date isn’t until February.
Short answer is yes, you can make changes until Freeze date.
However, any date is an estimate and can move sooner or later any time.
TYD on tracking Taycan and Macan ICE last year was very helpful.
I understand this is not available for Macan EV just yet.

Thanks for the context. Can you clarify what TYD is? Assuming it’s the Porsche app production stage tracking?

Apologies. TYD = Track Your Dream in the Porsche App.
it was more accurate than the dealer's system until the last shipment leg from port to dealer.

Ahh okay. To be clear then, it would be this? I.e., I have until ~ February 6th to make any adjustments to the specs?

I changed my build 7 times before the freeze date. Just be careful to do it because dates can change without notice and you will be frustrated if you forget to submit it and miss the date.

As others say, things can move forward or backward - but it is unlikely to shift more than a month forward - usually Porsche allocates slots per month so it looks like you are in the February 2025 production allocation. This might move forward to January, but unlikely to December (considering we are already December). So, if you make changes in the next 2-3 weeks, that should definitely not cause any issues. Just keep an eye on this TYD page to see if things move.

For reference, I paid my deposit in January (day after official launch) for my Turbo, I got a June slot allocated in April, with an expected Week 44 arrival at the dealer. There were delays in the supply chain and so while the Change Freeze Date eventually happened in early July, the car only got manufactured early September, but it still arrived at the dealer in Week 44.

On the contrary, we ordered my wife's Cayenne GTS in November '22 with a February '23 production slot. The car actually got manufactured early January '23 and arrived 2 months earlier than promised.

In my case, the freeze date reported by TYD moved a couple times, starting from 1 Dec back to 26 Nov (changed on the 26th) then to 28 Nov then to 1 Dec, Actual date turned out to be 2 Dec, just as the dealer was indicating all along. There is a few time zones between Europe and the US to consider. Dealer says things can be reported as bouncing around as you get close to being frozen, but settles down later in the process given they don't run out of parts.

The estimated production start for my 4S is Jan 12, Why it needed to be frozen six weeks before production begins may have something to do with the plant being shut down over the holidays

Just submitted my order for a custom build Macan Turbo. Live in Miami, FL, but after shopping around for discounts, submitted my order through the Naples, FL dealership. They were much more helpful and took 6% off MSRP on my custom spec. build.

Wondering if anyone has ordered or received delivery of a custom spec build and could share pictures. Particularly interested in seeing the green leather interior, and turbonite accents, both interior and exterior, in real life.

Here's my build link: https://porsche-code.com/PSMJNTR9
Code: PSMJNTR9

Dealer spec sheet with prices also attached.

I'm expecting delivery around March - April of 2025. Cannot wait! Thanks in advance to anyone who can share pictures of their Turbos.

Cheers!
