The blue seatbelts and chrono look great with the white interior! I debated between blue and red highlights with my black interior and ultimately went with red.
Agreed, although the 4 has great acceleration once it reaches 10-20 mph. In addition, the 4S was only about $5,000 more than the 4 would have been for the options I selected, at least in the U.S.
My only disappointment about the 4S is that the EPA range is estimated at 20 miles less than the...
Once you have your ship name you can track it here: https://www.vesselfinder.com/

My SA had to add the VIN to the My Porsche app since Porsche customer service would not do it for me.
Unfortunately there’s not much info in the app after doing so other than the owners manual since the Track My Dream feature is not available in the U.S.
Thanks for your response. I was leaning toward the DR970X Box version as well. Blackvue appears to be the best option for remote Cloud viewing but requires settling for lower image quality and very high cost including the LTE module and external battery.
The only other dashcam I was seriously...
Looks great!
I’m excited to receive my Volcano Grey 4S in 1-2 weeks. I really liked the illuminated logo in the seats but instead selected 14-way seats (which don’t have an illumination option) so I could get the massage function, and also ordered illuminated door sills.
Here’s the timeline for my 4S:
Ordered 8/28/24
Freeze date 9/24
Production complete ~10/24
Departed Emden port (on Siem Confucius) 11/5
Arrived Jacksonville port 11/22 (today)
Estimated delivery in NC 11/29
@nischalr @adamjay79 I’ll let you know how long it takes for my 4S to be delivered from...
Would you recommend the Box or LTE version of the Blackvue DR970X 2-CH Dashcam? The Box version has a smaller footprint and is more secure but may be more complex to install and requires a separate $135 LTE module for Cloud viewing. The LTE version has the SIM card built in, so it doesn’t...
Agreed. I was not too impressed with the instant acceleration of the 4 during a recent test drive relative to my Tesla long-range model Y, although the acceleration was impressive once the Macan was in motion. Early reviews of the 4S sound more promising.
Unfortunately not only tariffs but resumed U.S. port strikes in mid-January may impact Porsche and other imports next year.

Great to hear the Tesla MagicDock worked well! Would be a much more viable option for us if there were far more than only 80+ installed across the U.S. today.
Would you recommend buying the Blackvue battery pack (B-130X) even if my Blackvue dashcam (DR970X Box 2-CH Plus or 2-CH LTE Plus) will be hardwired? It’s quite expensive at $359 but I would get it if necessary to protect the Macan’s 12v battery when in parked mode.
Btw, my local installer said...
I’m very interested to hear how your installation goes and how you like the Blackvue dashcam. I’m considering buying the Blackvue DR970X-2CH LTE Plus for my 4S which will be delivered at the end of November.
In the meantime, you might want to check this thread for additional information...
My Volcano Grey 4S is on the Siem Confucius arriving at the port of Jacksonville on November 21st and scheduled for delivery on the 29th. Anyone else have their Macan EV aboard that ship?
Thanks so much for your review which is one of the first for the 4S!
I’m really glad to hear that the 4S acceleration is closer to the Turbo and that you like the rear axle steering which I added to my 4S order being delivered next month. I previously owned a Tesla Y LR and was disappointed by...
Has anyone else tested acceleration on the 4S versus the 4 or Turbo (or a Tesla)? Curious if the acceleration is closer to the 4 or the Turbo, without using launch control.
