I used to drive Model 3 as my first car for few years and wanted to write a compression review for people who consider upgrading to Porsche. Here is a short summary:
You will miss:
- I don't but you might miss Autopilot even tho InnoDrive gets close, it will never be as close as autopilot as...
Very happy with it! Taking tight corners with much ease. According to the web the Model 3 and Macan with rear steering has the same turning circle even tho the size is significantly larger. I could also feel more stability when accelerating and overtaking. Also mountain roads are a lot more fun.
Totally agree with the lane keep assist. Thought I wasn't used to the size of the car and its dynamics but I think it's just being too sensitive. App syncing too... Would rush to check if I actually forgot to lock the car, only for the app to update few minutes later. If you are going to rest...
Keys with me. Not blocking the door. Might be accidentally touching that comfort entry button on the door handle. Will check and report back. Most likely a software bug.
I think it's impossible to have an exact consumption estimate because there could be infinite amount of combinations with Porsche... I think they estimate based on weight. I saw the offroad wheels take a big hit on range because they aren't aerodynamic at all.
This one is specifically for Portugal as it has a weird charging setup. I got mine it's all activated but I can only auth via the app and sometimes that doesn't work either (communication issue with the station).
The rumble is weird, haven't had it in an EV yet, but I don't mind it. And I totally love the pedestrian sound! (Just to drop an alternative opinion on here) š
I used it for 30min or so after a weekend hike as I was pretty tired. I can tell you it's pretty good. However one time it lowered the speed of the car from 120 to 80 on highway... I guess at some point that section might have been under construction but it wasn't anymore. Thankfully there were...
Congrats! I completely agree with youāthe weird video really doesnāt do the car justice. It felt like the guy was very hard to make it look worse than it is! I agree with the arm rest situation, a bit of bummer that it doesn't adjust. Th Audi Q5 had a very comfortable arms rest situation.
Iāve been using the Porsche navigation system for a few days, and to be honest, it has some flaws when it comes to providing accurate directions in my city. While I really appreciate the sleek design of the map, the helpful information about charging stations, and the reminders for service...
You can share a destination from Google Maps to Porsche via the Share menu.
1. Google maps
2. Find a location
3. Tap share
4. Select My Porsche App
5. Send to vehicle
Tried few times but no luck... I'll be really grateful if someone can share how much their window drop when they unlatch the door so I can compare. I've booked a visit to Porsche for a check but I am just curious what it could be.
I am with the offroad wheels and I've done 300km so far. Noticed that noise from day 1 and thought it will go away after few hundred km but it is still happening. Manual says it's normal behaviour in certain conditions to get that noise but it's happening all the time (parking, stopping...
Same thing happened to me when I did a factory rest to enable Plug and Charge feature. I went to time settings and set it to current date, put my phone in airplane mode while doing so and it worked. I was also unable to connect my account. After you complete this, try pairing your phone again...
Iām curious if anyone else has experienced this. Occasionally, when I enter my car, the goodbye screen pops up and the car goes into goodbye/leaving mode. Itās happened about five times now, so itās not just a one-off issue. I also noticed it happened to a YouTuber.
I have comfort entry, and in...
