another way to ask is what does the Turbo add to the 4S that's worth 20K? The extra 100hp? Anything else?

Here are some additional gains with the turbo(4s option cost):

-Larger front brakes by 1” but still 6 piston
-metallic “shade” colors no cost ($690)
-21” turbo wheels no cost ($2710)
-wheel cap logo consistency ($190)
-Leather package in black ($960)
-18 way seats ($1720)
-standard black window trim ($240)
-ext mirror color no cost ($600)
-side blade color no cost ($680)
-front valence gloss black no cost
-rear bumper lip color no cost
-ptv ($1490)
-matrix design lights ($1220)
-rear Porsche logo black ($290)
-interior accent color ($540)
-sport steering wheel ($320)
-race tex roof liner ($1540)
-Bose ($990)

The value proposition is debatable since many of the “upgrades” are detail color specifics purely asthetic. Depending on how lightly you spec the 4s vs how closely you spec the 4s with standard turbo options will result in approx 10-15k price difference.

yeh, as stated above...you get the extra power...body work is different... and lots of the options are "cheaper" or "free" on the Turbo vs the S. But if you select those options, the prices still climbs rapidly

The turbo has different more powerful and heavier motors which will also cost your some range

The shorter answer is, you're paying for a bit less range and a decent bump in power.

You can add on almost every decent "Turbo" option to a 4S, this particular Turbo doesn't have many really standout "Turbo only" features. The blacked out badge might be the best but you can swap that easily aftermarket.

Fake rear vents are fake. Turbonite isn't really a great choice for exterior trim. Shrug.

I agree with the other statements above. I didn’t need all of the aesthetic options included with the Turbo so it was difficult for me to justify the additional $15K expense.

On the other hand, it was an easy decision for me to upgrade from the 4 to 4S since I got a boost in horsepower and it only cost me about $5K more with my configuration.
