BE WARNED!!! If you reset to factory settings within the PCM you WILL LOOSE the digital owners manual. To fix you will have to go back to Porsche to have them re-install it. Itās region specific hence why if reset itās gone.
Finally got a chance to test this out a bit further. So far, very impressed. Here are some pictures and a short video. It recognizes your blinking lights
Did you ever hear back from your SA? Hopefully the software issue is resolved. Curious to see what software version you end up with. Would love to compare with what I have. Maybe I will be behind now.
Within the PCM if I navigate to Owner's Manual app I get the following error: " No Contents are available. Please contact your Porsche Center"
Before Contacting Porsche, curious if anyone else having this issue?
I can tell you that the cable did get warm during my first charging test. Don't have anything to compare it against so I figured it was normal given the high amperage and 9.2KWH
Another update regarding the Plug and charge. The dealer has to initiate something to enable the service. Once completed you can request a certificate via the My Porsche App under functions/charging then click on the gear icon on the top right. Toggle the plug and charge and follow the prompts...
So I did hear that there is an update coming that will add Apple EV Route Planning in the future. Maybe that is it. Ask your SA or the tech if the update includes that?
Other than the software update they also installed "adhesive strip for the sensor on the electric power supply left and right"... Maybe they are waiting for those parts.
Quick update: Spoke to Porsche Connected services and Apple EV Route Planning is coming to the Macan Electric in the future after a software update. Itās already provisioned on their end, so itās only a matter of time.
Regarding the Plug and Charge, that is something the dealer needs to...
Thatās strange, I took delivery of my Macan Turbo from Napleton Porsche where the Software update took only a few hours I was told. No issues at all. Maybe the techs should talk to Napleton techs as they figured it out.
Took delivery of my new Macan Electric Turbo and my expectations have been exceeded thus far. I do have two questions that I can't figure out how to solve and could use some help:
1. It appears Apple EV Route Planner is not compatible or enabled for the Macan Electric, or I just can't get it...
Very Niceā¦ My Turbo just arrived to the dealer near Chicago, but itās pending a software update & āadhesive strip for the electric sensorā. SA said it should be done by end of week.
My SA sent me some arrival pictures in the mean time.
