No. i go to a new queue, which in my case is good as I’ll be at the front of the queue. For Turbo, I was deep behind. So yes, new allocation.

We are all ordering blindly at this stage. Nobody has a chance to drive any of the cars … the reviewers hitched a ride with pro Porsche drivers … that’s about how much we know.

I went through the same process initially. Looked at 4 and quickly figured out the optioned 4 is so close to turbo. Placed my order for turbo.

I find alcantara / race-tex hard to maintain, especially in places where your skin is in full contact, like steering wheel and seats. The skin oils penetrate it and it wears out, being flat and not pleasant anymore. It’s like wearing suede leather shoes, very hard to keep looking good.

You’d better share the pics and your personal experience. I’ve ordered mine but not locked the actual spec yet. That comes later.

I’d like to see the car with the different colours at the dealer. But these are conflicting desires: getting the car as soon as possible, and seeing the car first. My dealer in Sydney says they will have the first demo cars arrive in September and they will have an official Aus launch then...

There are two measures: 0-60 and 0-62 (aka 0-100km/h) so ppl often get confused … or excited, the latter is marginally higher of course
