Itās such a shame that you have to resort to this type of cover to resolve an issue that Porsche should definitely have designed out on a ā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬/$$$$$$/Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£ +++ car!! š
@ Throbā¦..I agree with @Greenmachineā¦ā¦.just keep your Taycan GTS, cancel the Macan Turbo and then wait until the new Taycan GTS is launched, and then compare it to your current car.
This way you wouldnāt loose any money on changing to a Macan Turbo, which you donāt really want š
Personally, I didnāt like the Race-Tex steering wheel in a Macan GTS I test drove, as I found the surface felt little rough, and much preferred my leather wheel.
I have the heated windscreen on my 2023 Macan, and as far as Iām aware, Porsche do not use wires for the heating element inside their screens, as they use some sort of heating film sandwiched between the glass panels.
My screen looks a little golden colour in certain light situations, but...
Not really a fair comparison as that ICE is the Mk 2 version, not the latest Mk 3 version, which definitely has better front and rear ends than the Mk 2.
So, I take it that youāve ordered this option? š
Another reason for my question, is that Iāve seen a lot of reviews of models without the rear wiper, so was wondering if the new design of the tailgate reduces the muck dragged up onto the screen when driving, compared to the ICE Macan.
For those that have received their Macan EVs, if you didnāt spec the rear wiper option, does the rear glass screen get as dirty as the ICE Macan screen when driving in wet conditions?
