I’ve noticed that when the passenger seat is unoccupied, the seatbelt buckle rattles annoyingly against the plastic of the central pillar. In my Taycan, and in my partners Audi Q5, there’s a small felt patch stuck on the pillar in this area to stop the annoying knocking noise. Has it been missed in my Macan, or are others noticing this annoying little tapping sound?…

You can adjust that little clip that is on the belt, and by the way, there's no such clip on the drivers side, down so that it doesn't hit the pillar anymore.

Another alternative that some of us went for was this item found by @Diego in this old thread.

I also pre-ordered a set and can’t wait to install them in my vehicle next week.

It just moves the rattle further down the pill

thank you. I’ve ordered some pads from eBay to stick on the pillar!
I can’t believe Porsche charge £70k plus for a new car, and then you have to resort to eBay pads to fix this fundamental design flaw!! 🤔😁

This topic has been discussed at length previously. Might try searching for it.

This is mentioned in the owners manual. Move the buckle up around where the seatbelt height adjustment mechanism is. It will stay put there and will not rattle.

I know the picture in the manual. This clamp that is standard on the Macan on the belt of the passenger seat does not clamp well and does not stay in place well, which often causes it to sag down so that the belt still starts to rattle.

Exactly, it’s not really a solution
