My 4S was jacked up while being detailed, and when put back down the electric parking break is giving a yellow error saying temporarily unavailable. If I press P the parking break engages, but the red P flashes. I cannot get the parking break to engage when driving I.e. the green hold you get when pressing down hard on the break pedal does work.
I am pretty sure it just needs a reset and didn’t like being jacked up without being told it was (I see options in the pcm for this but it’s to late now!)
So I want to power it down by disconnecting the 12v battery to see if that helps. Is there an easy way to do this. Looks like the battery is in the front but not sure how to get access to it.. or is there a fuse I can remove?
if it does work I will have to take it to the OPC, any advice would be appreciated.
