guys, does it matter what setting you choose for air suspension when you park it overnight or longer stay?
is there any "healthiest" mode; normal or lowered?
That’s a good question. To be honest, I leave my Macan in lowered and my Taycan lifted (due to the garage elevation). What I’ve noticed with the Macan is it will adjust itself as needed when parked. I’m just I didn’t answer your question, but wanted to add a sound bite and perspective.
One is that a higher ride height requires higher inflation pressure in the air suspension bags, which increases stress on the bags.
The other is that frequent changes in suspension pressure cause additional wear on the compressor, and increase the possibility of moisture entering the system. Moisture is one of the leading causes of air suspension failures.
Personally I don't plan on changing ride height when parking, nor would I do that for storage.
I’ve also noticed the Macan lowers itself if I’m in normal height mode after being parked. Don’t know if this is built into the system or can be engaged or disengaged.
yeah, i don't have mine yet, but when i see the Macan's at the porsche Boutique at the mall, they are maaaad low. Like, almost a tucked look...
I have a feeling the Macan will let it set it as low as it can when the car is off or not on for a period of time.
