alarm notifications to iphone

when the alarm goes off, can a notification be sent to an iphone? it would appear so but can’t find anything on how to set it up. i’m getting notifications when the cabin temperature reaches desired temp but am not getting a notification when the alarm goes off

I think you may need Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS) which is a separate subscription but integrates into the My Porsche App. Same on Apple / Android. Requires the driver cards that you got with the car to be activated and then carried at all times (is a real PITA) but the advantage is that silent alarms are sent to you and the Security Operation Centre (SOC) for subsequent follow-up.

Not sure if this alters the behaviour of the standard alarm & related notifications (given the upselling of the service). It may be that you get a notification within the app rather than outside of it.

Check the alarms area within the app under 'Functions' to see what you get out of the box.

thanks w1nge, pvts appears to be overkill and it’s not obvious after having gone to the porsche connect website that it’s even available for my car. and… it does look as though it would be a pita i’m trying to get rid of cards in my wallet not add more!

looked at alarms in the app and it doesn’t show any. maybe the history got reset when they fixed my false alarm issue. this attachment, also from the app, seems to imply that i/we should be getting a notification when the alarm is set off…
