Boot 240V socket not working?

So I tried connecting a variety of items into the boot socket of my Macan Turbo (it was an optional extra).
However it doesn't seem to be producing any power. I tried a 15W charger to charge my phone for example with no luck. The car is obviously on and operationally ready. Any ideas?
I'm in Australia so it's an AU plug. The manual I have said EU but the socket is not EU.

Ok wow. Didn't know that.
But it doesn't look like my socket was disabled or taped shut, but they could have disabled the internal wiring before delivery without telling me.
I will ask them about this when I take it in for service.

Check the wiring in the back of it, if disconnected, demand full compensation for the amount you paid and 1 yr free warranty extension (that's what the others got in the above NZ thread).
It's a useless feature on the Porsche as it only 150w and drains the 12v battery instead of 3.6kW like proper V2L used by other EVs (Hyundai, etc.)
Porsche just raided the Seat (or what ever VAG brand) ICE parts bin just to advertise this as an "EV" feature on the Macan.
Still paid for it though (never used it/never will) so it's working for them well, they are the not known as money grab masters for nothing.
