Can you set the car temperature and heated seats from the iPhone app?

Hi

As per subject, when doing either remote or timed interior pre-conditioning, can you set the following from the phone app?

Heated steering wheel
Passenger and driver seat heating
Passenger and driver air temperature

As far as I can tell, you can do the following from the phone app:

• turn each of the four zones of the climate system (driver, passenger, rear left, and rear right) on or off for pre-conditioning the climate.
• set one single temperature for whichever of those zones are on
• then send the command to start pre-conditioning the cabin to those settings

No controlling the heated steering wheel, no controlling the heated seats, no setting different temperatures for different parts of the car.

The Porsche phone app does not have as much functionality for climate as the Tesla phone app does (I was a Model Y owner for 4 years), but it does work. Porsche has also already added some features to the phone app in updates in just the 6 months I've had my Macan.

Nope but come the winter and dependent on ambient temperature the preheat of the cabin will switch on the heated seats and wheel accordingly but no separate control.

The steering wheel will be heated when the temperature is cold enough and you can choose which seats are heated.

Agree with posts and replies re presets via mobile app.

Recently, while all systems thankfully are running properly as well as my Porsche App reads stays accurately, I’m unable to change departure info including adding new departure nor changing time of existing preset departure.

Equally am unable to change the temp of previously preset temp in an upcoming departure.

To be clear, whether I’m not at home where the car is or I’m in the house just meters away from my car in my own driveway I’m unable to affect any changes whatsoever.

I’m now only able to make changes add-remove etc sitting in the car with the car on and going to the charging function.

Thankfully that still works!

Try deleting the existing timers in the car (swipe left). The max amount of timers is five, and the app sometimes stops working until the old times are deleted.

Nite, this must be done in the car.

The most recent version of the app claims to offer a little bit more functionality in this area. It installed this morning on my iPhone, check the app store, as the kids say. You can control the climate from the main screen. Still not as granular as OP would like, but small steps, eh?

The other thing that’s missing is the ability to control the windows, sunroof etc. The car will tell you that you left the sunroof open but you can’t do anything about it in the app. That’s really unacceptable.
