About to head out on first long-ish road trip from SW Colorado to Phoenix AZ and wanting to have solid charging stops planned. I avoid electrify America at all cost, but the nav system seems to favor them over Rivian adventure network stations even in the same city (eg, Flagstaff AZ). I can “force it” to go to Rivian by editing the trip plans but this is inconvenient- any thoughts/suggesrions?

I may be confusing with third party planners, but I think you can set preferences to avoid all EA chargers or use only x,y,z brand chargers. But that may be counter productive where there are not enough Rivian stations.

My experience with Electrify America while roadtripping has been excellent.

I drove 3400 miles roundtrip from Los Angeles to Nebraska and back and used EA exclusively because it was free for me at the time. I only had to wait at one charging station in Grand Junction, Colorado where all four chargers were in use, and encountered one charger in Green River, Utah that was charging at significantly lower speeds than it should have been capable of -- I switched to another charger and got the rated speeds.

In my area Electrify America also has the lowest prices, so combined with the ease of Plug & Charge, it is my preferred charging network.

If you use the My Porsche app to plan your drive, it's quite easy to select charging networks that you want to prefer or avoid. Plan your route in the app and then send the plan to the vehicle.
