Yep. And it opens up more hotel choices. Over the last 5 years we've used our TeslaTap maybe 10 times. But it's been worth it. Allows me to expand the list of candidate hotels to pick from. Most still don't have any charging, but for the ones that do (in the price range I'm willing to work with), being able to charge to 100% overnight is a big plus.you'll never know when/where you'll end up some place that has EV charging but the "wrong" type of charger when you show up - the adapters are "insurance" that you should be able to charge anywhere - regardless of installed charging infrastructure…
this guy for example…from July of 2020…

you'll want two adapters in the frunk of any EV in North America for at least a decade - regardless of native port type - you'll always be somewhere when you need access to a charger with the "wrong" type of connector…
J-1772/CCS native vehicles - 1) TeslaTap mini 2) Lectron/Porsche supercharger
NACS native vehicles - 1) J-1772 adapter ($75) 2) CCS Adapter ($250)
And it's probably paid for itself already with the number of EA sessions it displaced with free hotel charging.
PS: In 5 years and 60,000 road trip miles thru 40 states, I've used the mobile charger only once. It's insurance, but rarely ever used. Also note that the Porsche one includes a bulky mounting bracket that can be left at home. In fact while bulkier than the Tesla, I may just take it out of the large bag and leave it loose in the frunk to save some space. If I didn't have the Bose woofer in the back I'd hide it back there.
