Difference in the insulated glass (front and sides)

Driving through southern Portugal chasing sunsets, I discovered that the front windshield filters out a some part of the visible light spectrum. The vibrant pinks of the sunset appeared washed out, leaning towards orange.

Interestingly, the side windows didn’t have the same effect.

For photographers, this is something to keep in mind if you want to enjoy more of the spectrum On the bright side, the interior is cool and quiet.
