Does anyone have both the steering wheel carbon fiber inlays and the “matte carbon fiber with Neodyme Accents interior trim” on their Macan? If so what do you think? I do not see this/these options listed in our “Regrets” thread — but maybe no one has both on theirs yet.

If you do please, might you take one picture which includes both items in it? I am “gun shy” without someone saying they have them both and they look good together. If they clash, one option will go. Even if you do not have neither or just one but if you are share my concerns about their compatibility, I would like to read your post below.

Thanks.

I do and don't think it clashes at all. It's a nice but unnecessary upgrade to the steering wheel. Pretty common on the US launch models you should be able to find a bunch of pics online.

I have the Limestone Beige leather interior. I wanted the neodyme door trim accents, which I thought would look great with the lighter leather. I selected the carbon fiber with neodyme accents option, thinking this also would give me the neodyme trim accents. It didn’t. So my door / dash trim is silver with door insets in carbon / neodyme. It’s OK, but my bad.

I did not option carbon on the steering wheel. So I did one of two you’re asking about.

To your question: the neodyme in the carbon fiber in the doors doesn’t stand out vividly (a bit more in the sunshine). I would think those two carbon fiber options would not clash. YMMV.

I have the carbon fibre steering wheel, but just went with the standard trim. I don’t think it would clash however I did discover if you select the Yellow theme which actually looks like the limestone beige colour it reflects off of the silver, and suddenly poof you have a limestone beige, accented interior and illuminated interior at that. It looks fantastic and goes very well with the carbon fibre steering wheel, which I should say has an interesting subtle beige reflection as well. So you Do not need the nyodine but I would think that would work well and the black versus carbon fibre black on the doors may not be as stand out as you might imagine in fact, the black with the ambient lighting even during the day, pulls it all together. That said if I was to redo it I might go for the cabon fibre on the doors as I now think it would pick up some of the ambient lighting. Either way they both look great.

by the way, where did you get a picture of that steering wheel because as far as I know you cannot get nyodine on the steering wheel by any option at least on the Macan 4 in Canada

Thank you. As to the Neodyme trim on the steering wheel, my bad for that is a picture of the carbon fiber on the Taycan’s wheel with its carbon fiber inlay option — and the Taycan uniquely has Neodyme as an option on its steering wheel.

This is my carbon fibre steering wheel. Ambient lighting set to beige and standard interior chalk-beige (called limestone beige in some countries). If you look closely, you can see a subtle beige hew reflecting off of the carbon fiber. Looks way better in person as the 3D effect is not captured in the photo.

I did notice that you can buy the carbon fibre inlay separately after if you decide you want it.
