I had my Taycan 4S CT for two years, and it was a great car. It was top-spec, featuring Torque Vectoring, Rear Axle Steering, and more. It was incredibly quick in corners and had solid handling. However, one issue I encountered was getting in and out of the vehicle; I found it easier to get in and out of my 911 than the Taycan. Additionally, my kids had difficulty fitting their feet into the rear seat.

Last month, I traded the Taycan for the Macan Turbo. Personally, I like the look of the Macan, and it's faster in a straight line compared to the 4S Taycan. While it doesn't handle as well as the Taycan—obviously—but it handles sufficiently for our daily driving needs. It's also much easier for both me and the kids to get in and out of. While it may not attract as much attention as the Taycan, I often get asked about it since it's relatively new on the road.

I faced a few issues initially, like having a blank instrument cluster on day one after leaving the dealership, which was concerning. Thankfully, a quick reboot resolved the problem, and after 1,000 miles, I haven't experienced any further issues. The app was non-functional for the first three weeks and wouldn’t display my charge status. However, that sorted itself out after I reached out to Porsche support via a call and an email.

There are several aspects that I find work better than in the Taycan. The interface is quicker, Apple CarPlay connects faster, and the rear camera is actually better than the one in the 2022 Taycan (in my opinion). It’s not as good in the dark compared to other brands, but it's certainly an improvement over what I had in the Taycan.

Overall, I'm very happy with my decision. I won't dwell on the depreciation of the Taycan or the potential depreciation of the Turbo, as I was aware of that when I made the trade. While this will primarily be my wife's car, I wanted something fun for spirited driving on occasions when I get behind the wheel.

Hi, Great pictures. I noticed the side blade has the word Turbo on it. Is that a decal stuck on or it is etched into the blades? I wonder if you would mind taking a close up of it as I am considering getting new carbon fiber blades and if I do I might add the lettering if it looks good. To me at least at a distance what you have looks good but want to see it up close.

I believe it was a sticker, or at least that's what my PPF installer told me. Right now, I have clear PPF over all the gloss black parts; I can't tell the difference. originally he was going to remove it and make the letters himself in Turbonite color, but decided to keep as is to match the silver in wheels. We also took off the 'electric' logos on the sides that were in Turbonite.

In any case, this logo is an option you can add. Look for "Colored Model Designation on Doors" on the configurator. You can get a closeup of the lettering there as well.

Yes I was recently in the configuration and saw you could pick from 5 colour options. So is that the silver logo because it looks very white in the picture? I guess it looks white up again the gloss black blades
