Hi when I get my ppf I'll most likely need a new turbo badge for the rear. I'm having trouble finding the correct one online? Any help would be appreciated in black preferably as my vehicle is black.

The only one in finding that maybe the correct one is this eBay listing

https://ebay.us/m/Dc5Mb9

Any advise?

Thank you!

My detailer thought the dealer would just give me new badges ha! I went in and was quoted over $800 for new ones! “4” and “S” are separate and each was $100. In the end I ordered from Sun Coast, saved a ton, and didn’t add the “Electric” badges. The detailer did mention the possibility of reusing, but said brand new ones would guarantee stick.

Do you have the direct link to the badges you ordered?

Thank you

My PPF installer precision cut the film. It’s not noticeable unless you look for it. Some people like it, some don’t, but point is that between this and someone just removing your badge and reapplying, a capable installer has options that don’t require you to buy new badges.

My understanding from my dealer when I asked same question is the ppf installer has a template for cutting the ppf. The photo above imo clearly shows a template was used as it’s a perfect cutout. Perhaps it won’t look great if the ppf is matte, but you can’t really tell if glossy as already stated.

I have two concerns with the cutout method.

1. The edge will attract dirt, so it will become more visible unless you keep the car clean.

2. The edge will fray and peel with time, and become visible even if the car is clean.

If your PPF installer is unable to reuse the original badges I think paying for a new set to have installed is preferable.

My installer removed the Turbo badge, applied 3M tape, and reinstalled it. 14 months later, many car washes later, 2nd winter, not an issue.
