Thanks to tonyadduci for his great picture below of the visible CF side blades on his new Jet Black beauty with its visible carbon fiber side blades. .

We have, I believe, two active members who have both the carbon fiber side blades and also carbon fiber wheels on their special Copper Ruby Macans. Question please, for it is hard to tell on different pictures, do the carbon fiber weave patterns work together, i.e., is the width between the sequential “dark stripes” on the wheels the same distance apart as on the side blades? Other visuals on the two options work well together or not?

Thanks if anyone who has this double carbon fiber option combination would comment back, and best of all if you have a picture showing how they work together.

Just got mine (ruby turbo). I think it’s a great look. My wife noticed the combo for the mirrors the wheels and side blade. If it was all gloss black would it look good too, probably, but the carbon fiber is a nice look.

Thank you. I am visible carbon fiber fanatic and as built right now my potential 2026 Macan turbo would have the carbon fiber wheels, though the reason I posted this thread is that I am not yet sure whether to add in the comparatively cheap side blades OR is as is my current personal opinion and thus highly biased, my overall take so far on all Macans especially EV’s is that if the side blades not body colored, they shorten the visual length of the vehicle by calling visual attention between the wheels. Since the Macan is taller than many vehicles, is visually shortening its length a positive?

On the contrary, most feel that calling attention to the side blades reduces its visual height. Which is a good thing on all Macans IMO Ah, personal preference judgments…. Thanks again.

I do think it is worth mentioning that the "carbon wheels" are actually just inserts and not what I would consider a true carbon wheel (GT350, C8 Z06, etc.) If appearance is your goal, check, but when I saw that they were only inserts there was no way I could justify the asking price for that wheel option.

Correct. And the added cost to the wheels IMO is not worth it. I would have been just fine with floss black inserts but my vehicle was already configured with them.

Thanks for the shout-out. I considered this rim option as well but as they are not really "carbon fiber rims" I thought it was not as appealing and looked too fake so I went the matte black rim route. When I took delivery, I also wondered if I made a mistake in selecting the CF blades as maybe it looked better as an all-black car, but with trim and mirrors (also CF), it all tied together nicely. No regrets. In conclusion, if you want CF, I'd do the blades and mirrors only and get the trim in the grey/neodyne or whatever it's called. If you want all black, forgo any CF on the outside because the grey in the CF will break up the look too much.
