License Plate Holder too large

Hello! I just got delivery of an amazing Macan 4S full black. I’m located in Italy and Porsches now here are delivered with a German license plate holder that is larger then the italian front plate. The problem occurs because in Italy the front license plate is smaller than the rear one.
the result is quite ugly but the Porsche dealer is saying there is nothing possible to do (poor customer service).

do you have any ideas or possible solutions?

That sucks! But not sure that this qualifies as poor customer service but I feel your pain.

It’s probably a bit hard to tell but the front plastic number plate holders used in Australia are substantially smaller than yours. I took it off a few weeks back as it was loose and it certainly looked like a Porsche genuine part. Unfortunately it’s well and truly stuck back on now so I can’t see if it has a part number.

I’d certainly be annoyed too if mine was that comically oversized. Judging by your photo, the holes where it attaches to your bumper might still be wider than your number plate

Few weeks ago, when I was deciding whether to buy it, and what specs I liked, I borrowed a Macan from the dealer.
It seems that in Italy, the license plate holders are all like that!

Thank you for your replies. I think the only solution could be to 3D Print a dark plastic cover for the holes, but not sure if it might fall off at high speeds.

Because now, even if i visit a shop that can remove the license plate holder and install a smaller one, the holes would still be visible since are larger than the license plate it self.
