I’m a normal height guy at 6’1” and because I have long legs and shorter torso I like to raise my seat up fairly high. Unfortunately my Macan EV seat doesn’t raise high enough and thus is uncomfortable. I’m not sure if my seat is broken or if I’m just at its seat height limit. I assumed it was the latter until I got a new Macan (non EV) loaner and was able to adjust my seat to a comfortable height. I can’t imagine why the EV seat height would be so much shorter than the non EV counterpart but that seems to be the case.

Anyone else notice this issue?

I've never heard of a 6' person raising their seat!
As much as i feel that my view around the car is limited, i still like to keep the seat low. But to your point, I do feel the seat is too low or too far back with the comfort access... It would be really cool if we could set enter and exit seat positions

I agree. Plus, it would be really great if the Comfort Access could automatically adjust the vehicle height. My wife can get out of the vehicle more comfortably when the car is in its lowest position.

Raises hand!

I'm 6'1" too and love a high seating position. Easier to slide in/out of the car, and marginally better visibility. I'd like a taller vehicle in general, but that's tough in an EV because they're so aerodynamics-focused for range. So 64" is about as good as it gets. Thus why the Macan EV was on our radar. Anything shorter would have been nixed.

But as much as I love sitting high, I also love having the steering wheel low in my lap so I can hold it from the bottom while resting my arms in my lap (less arm fatigue) when cruising. Which means it cuts off my view of the top of the IP. Thank goodness for the HUD!

I'm 5' 7" and found the highest seat level on my Macan 4 to be almost high enough. I did find I could gain a bit extra height by tilting the front of the seat down a tad. Don't know if it's an illusion, but it seemed to give me just the right height.

lol i just think you need a different vehicle bro.

it's funny, cuz what you're describing is exactly how i like to drive my Trailblazer. It's a much tailer vehicle, and the steering wheels low, close to my lap. I want the same with the macan, but i can't really get it. I also keep the macan steering wheel that it cuts off some of the top view of the dash, but it's ok.

There are always seat cushions to consider. I use a near i inch adjustable air cushion left over from my biking days to get me to the right seat height. What about head room?

Actually I'm getting one.

The Macan EV is primarily my partner's car, although at this point I drive it just as much as he does. My new car will be a Lucid Gravity in about 6 months. The IP sits above the steering wheel on that one. I should be able to set that one nice and low and the seat high. 👍

We turned in a 9Y0 Cayenne e-hybrid for the Macan. The natural seating position/h point must be at least 3" higher than the Macan's. At least for me, the Macan's height feels right with the seat set low and the legs stretched. If you want that high SUV throne position, I would look at the Cayenne.

I daily an Air and my partner the 4S. You will enjoy the contrast between the two!

A Cayenne EV would have been a consideration had it already been available, but we're OK with the Macan as the "smaller" car (more medium, actually). We don't need two big cars, and it still meets my preferred minimum height of ~64". The gravity is 65" so not much taller, but I'll probably be able to set the seat a little higher because of the IP display above the wheel.

The 70" height of our Bronco Sport was just perfect for my tastes, but EVs have to sit lower for aero/range.
