The only way to push something to the dash from an iPhone like this is to tell the car its a CarPlay Navigation app. Of course, that would never fly in the App Store, so this is a one off, unless someone wants to share the magic sauce.

he's just sharing his hobby/side-project. there's a lot of speculation that the way he's projecting the video onto the screen most likely isn't kosher, so he obviously isn't going to give you a deep dive on that part lol, everything else he's been transparent about

i think it's really cool to read posts like these that push the boundaries of how we can modify our cars.

So technically its not the Kalman part that’s most computationally taxing it’s the o(n3) Hungarian matching I have on top (and now we’re firmly in mumbo jumbo tech speak land )

I don’t really expect this to be an issue unless if for some reason there are dozens of tracks.

Really cool project. Late to the discussion, but FYI that the same assignment problem for tracking that you are solving using the Hungarian algorithm can be solved as a linear program in a more efficient way, e.g. see https://developers.google.com/optimization/assignment/assignment_example
